Professor Angela Pynne is an accomplished musician. She is a music teacher at Absanie High School. She had a vision for a community choir because her students expressed an interest in continuing to sing gospel music after they graduated from high school. Her vision came to pass in 1985 with the help of Rev. Carlton J. Staton. She is a mother of two Arthur Pynne and Gloria Pynne. Her husband, the late Rev. James T. Pynne, was instrumental in helping her vision of the Absanie Community Choir come to pass. Her daughter, Gloria Pynne, plays the saxophone in the Absanie Community Choir Band. Her son, Arthur Pynne, serves as the assistant treasurer for the choir. |
